Sublime Sleepwear

 Hello There,

In my opinion sleepwear is by far one of the most underappreciated and overlooked styles of women's clothing. They're cute, comfortable, and functional all wrapped up into one, and yet it seems like no one talks about them. Additionally for those of us that are still in the closet and therefore don't have many opportunities to dress, sleeping in women's sleepwear can be a great opportunity to spend up to 8 hours of your day in women's clothing. Like all types of womenswear, sleepwear comes in a wide variety of types and styles: Pajamas, Nightgowns, Negligees, and sleepshirts to name a few. Women's sleepwear also provides the opportunity to wear clothes made of materials your average item of women's clothing is not made of like nylon and satin. Today I wanted to touch on my two favorite types of women's sleepwear: Nightgowns and Pajamas.

Nightgowns

Starting with my favorite of the two, Nightgowns! I tend to prefer women's nightgowns over other things like pajamas, even though nightgowns have largely fallen out of fashion. I prefer them because they make me feel inherently more feminine, due to the lack of pants LOL!  I'd say the only problem with wearing a nightgown is that all the loose extra fabric makes rolling over in bed a little difficult sometimes. To help fix that I sleep in satin sheets, that way I can roll around freely and the fabric of my nightgown does not get caught on my sheets. Nightgowns have a massive amount of different styles, from short and sexy to long and elegant, giving you tons of options as to how you want to express yourself at night.

Pajamas

When it comes to pajamas, even though they are a clothing item that can be worn by men, women's pajamas have a few features that make them super fun to sleep in. Firstly you can get them in a material that men's pajama's usually don't come in like satin or silk, which feel fantastic to wear and sleep in. Secondly they come in all sorts of fun colors and patterns, nothing quit like waking up and seeing pink draped all over your body! Additionally grown men don't typically wear pajamas, they're more commonly found in underwear and a t-shirt when they sleep, so wearing pajamas of any form is unique, especially when they're women's.

Accessories

There are some extra accessories to include with women's sleepwear that can make your night sleeping as a beauty all the more fun:

  • Panties (obviously): Choosing a comfortable pair of panties to wear under your nightwear is a total must! Just make sure you choose a style and material that is going to be comfortable to sleep in.
  • Bras: Bras can also be fun to wear under sleepwear when worn correctly. If you're going to sleep in a bra, make sure it's very comfortable like a wirefree bra or a bralette, otherwise with a wired bra you'll be uncomfortable all night. But once you get the sizing and style right sleeping in a bra lets you sleep with simulated feminine curves and a bra hugging your chest.
  • Socks: If you're a girl like me your feet get very cold at night, so socks are a must. Unless your feet are a massive size you should be able to squeeze into women's socks, which come in so many cute styles and colors.
  • Pantyhose: Pantyhose can help keep you warm on cold nights. I tend to toss and turn in my sleep, this makes sleeping in pantyhose really fun because I get to unintentionally rub pantyhose clad legs together all night.
  • Feminine sheets: I sleep in pink satin sheets, which are oh so soft and comfortable! Having feminine sheets help to girlify your room and make you feel as though you are sleeping like a princess.
There you have it, the joys of women's sleepwear! I'm always looking to expand my wardrobe and try new things so if I should ever try some new styles of nightwear I'll be sure to give you guys an update! Until then I wish everyone some amazing beauty sleep!

Feminine Withdrawal Shopping Spree

 Hello There,

Today I thought I'd share a story from November 2020 when I went on a shopping spree due to pent up feminine withdrawal. During November 2020 it was during peak Covid times, I was living with my parents, and I had not yet gotten a full time job after graduating college earlier that year. So naturally I was feeling pretty pent up and bored. Additionally after graduating college I purged my collection of women's clothing in anticipation of having to move back in with my parents. So I had therefore not expressed myself as a woman in almost 8 months. It was almost the perfect storm to force my hand, I was bored, had a lot of free time, and was in desperate need of some feminine fun. Eventually I just couldn't take it anymore and had to do some crossdressing, which also meant of course that I had to get some clothes, and shoes, and makeup, and a wig (basically everything LOL). Normally I do a lot of my shopping online, that way I can buy exactly what I want, but I was in no mood to wait for shipping. I needed to dress now!! That being said I wasn't willing to spend oodles of cash on what was essentially a spur of the moment decision. I wasn't just going to walk into Macy's and spend hundreds of dollars on a dress, and shoes. So I went to goodwill to try and see if there was anything that caught my eye, and if I came up empty handed I would call the whole thing off. Even though goodwill is very hit or miss I found an adorable and very sexy red satin mini party dress, as well as some cute black heels that looked like they would fit me! Thankfully my trip to goodwill was a total success, and my girls night was a go! But I needed more than a dress and heels, still on my list was a bra, panties, pantyhose, makeup and a wig. Luckily all of that was available at Walmart including the wig, which was a leftover Halloween wig and on sale for five dollars! It wasn't exactly as nice or as high quality a wig as I was used to, but it would serve its purpose. I finally had everything I needed in hand and was ready for my big night.

As I said earlier I was living with my parents at the time so I had to be extra careful as to when I was going to get myself all dolled up. I therefore chose the middle of the night to avoid possibly getting caught. I did my makeup in a tiny mirror I had in my room, with a very dim light. What was additionally unfortunate was that I had a beard at the time that I wasn't planning on shaving off, so I only got to do makeup on the upper half of my head. Thankfully due to Covid however, I had a face mask I could use to hide my beard in pictures. After my makeup was done I slipped into my new pink panties. I bought a thong which usually is not my favorite style of panty but I was in the mood for something extra feminine, which a pink thong certainly is. I then went ahead and finished off my underwear ensemble with a bra and pantyhose. Wearing a full set of women's underwear again was a dream come true! Then came the moment of truth, I didn't try the dress on before I bought it so I had no idea if it was going to fit. I slipped the dress over me and it thankfully fit amazing! Then came my crappy Halloween wig and I was in full feminine bliss, a girl again! My feminine spirit weren't dampened by my beard or cheap wig, I was just happy to be able to express myself again. I went ahead and took a bunch of pictures of myself to celebrate the moment and then I unfortunately had to de-girl.

Spur of the moment decisions don't always turn out well but this one certainly did for me. I found a cute dress for cheap, I wasn't caught by my parents, and I got to revel in the joy of femininity! Bellow you'll find several pictures from my night of fun, and even though they are far from my most passable pictures, they remind me of the overwhelming joy of getting to dress again after so very long. Also check out some pics bellow where I recreated the outfit I wore that night but with my current wig and makeup skills.

To Shave or Not to Shave?

 Hello There,

Something I wanted to touch on that some of you may have noticed in my photos is that my legs aren't shaved. While most people presenting as women tend to prefer to have shaved legs, it's something I and many others do not have the luxury of having. For me, my work uniform requires me to wear shorts, so the second I shave my legs it will be instantly noticeable. Shaved legs can be explained by some by saying it is necessitated by various hobbies like swimming. Unfortunately for me my coworkers know me too well and probably won't believe such an excuse. So I'm stuck with body hair, but honestly it doesn't bother me too much. I typically wear pantyhose when I dress, so those help to smooth out my legs when wearing an outfit that shows off my legs. But more significantly, body hair just doesn't bother me. As someone who is genderfluid, I crossdress to express myself when I want to feel like a woman, and there are so many other outlets to feel feminine beyond just having smooth legs. Additionally, when I want to feel masculine having body hair is certainly a plus. So at the end of the day, honestly I don't really mind having body hair, I have other outlets to feel feminine and by keeping most of it I still get to feel masculine. To all you ladies out there that don't have shaved arms and legs, don't let it dampen your enjoyment of feeling feminine, you still look beautiful!

Panties!

Hello there,

Well today is the day, we're gonna talk everyone's favorite subject: Panties! For many crossdressing, transgender and genderfluid people panties are their first step into the feminine world (although not me, check out my post on how I started dressing). Whether it be trying on your Mom's, Sister's, Aunt's, or Girlfriend's, inevitably curiosity gets the best of us, and we tried on panties for the first time. For whatever reason there's something so inherently naughty about the idea of men wearing women's underwear that for many once they try wearing panties there's no stopping. Now I know I speak for more than just myself when I say that a large part of the allure of wearing women's clothing is the wide variety of options you are presented with, and that certainly extends to women's underwear. So I just wanted to give some of my thoughts on panties and highlight some of my favorite styles and materials.

I'll start with my first panties, or maybe I should say my Mom's panties. I tried on a pair of her pink microfiber Hanes bikini panties, and wow, the feeling of the soft and smooth microfiber on me felt amazing! After that pair I tried on a pair of purple cotton panties, and I found my satisfaction at wearing them greatly decreased. They were rough and didn't have a lot of stretch stretch to them, not like the microfiber pair I had tried on. So from that day on, during the hundred or so times I wore my Mom's clothes I always picked one of her microfiber pairs. Naturally when I first starting buying clothes for myself, the first item in my basket were a package of microfiber panties. A large part of what makes women's underwear so great is how much softer it is than men's. This is a big reason microfiber panties are some of my favorites, unlike cotton panties which share the exact same fabric as men's underwear, (Boring!). Microfiber also has fantastic stretch to it which helps accommodate my manly bits.

When it comes to my favorite styles of panties, you certainly can't go wrong with bikini, hipsters, or cheekies. All of them provide similar levels of coverage to help hold all your man bits together, while also not sacrificing a feminine cut. As I discussed earlier, Microfiber is usually my material of choice but as for the cut I usually find that any of the previously listed work fine. When it comes to brands, I'm a cheapskate, I usually don't shell out huge sums of money on underwear that no one is going to see but me. Usually I just stick to whatever I can buy in a store for a reasonable price like Hanes (in ode to my mother's panties that I first wore), or any of Walmart or Target's store brand panties, sometimes they sell really cute single pairs for like $2.50! The only times I spend more than my normal amount for panties is for lingerie I plan on taking photos of myself in, that's really the only way I can justify the price.

The only time I spent a larger than normal sum on a pair of panties was at Victoria's Secret, a name that gives all crossdressers shivers of excitement LOL. I had been doing a lot of research online as to men's favorite brands of panties and many sung Victoria's Secrets praises as being both incredibly comfortable. and sexy. I've always had a deep love for lingerie sections in stores and the idea of actually shopping at a Victoria's Secret seemed exhilarating. Well one day I bucked up the courage and went to my local mall to buy a pair of Seamless Bikini Panties in pink and white stripes, a classic Victoria's Secret color pattern. I walked in and was kindly greeted by the employee standing at the front door, she asked me if I needed help finding anything. I confidently said no thank you, as I knew exactly what I was looking for. I walked to their table where all there panties were, and there they were lying in wait for me. I picked up a pair in my size and walked to wait in line at the register, I probably looked pretty awkward standing there, a guy with only a single pair of panties in hand (in his size mind you), but I was feeling too much euphoria to care. Once I reached the register the woman checking me out was so nice and friendly (why are all the women in Victoria's Secret so nice?!), she put my panties in one of those cute little bags and sent me on my way. I proudly walked out of the mall Victoria's secret bag in hand! Once I got home and tried them on, yeah I can confirm they are BY FAR one of my most comfortable pairs of panties I own. If Victoria's Secret wasn't so expensive I'd imagine most of the underwear I owned would be VS.

So you've probably noticed I haven't discussed, the sexier styles of women's underwear like Thongs and G-Strings, well that's because I'm not really a fan. I know, sacrilegious for a man who loves wearing women's underwear to not like Thongs but let me explain. It's not really the lack of fabric in the back that bothers me, so much as it is in the lack of fabric in the front. Unless you are extremely good at tucking or are using some form of adhesive there's just no way that a thong or g-string is going to hold everything together. If you're fine with things falling loose at times, that's great, you get to enjoy the sexier end of women's underwear. For those of us like me that dress for extended periods of time, these styles just aren't functional. While I'd love to be able to say I wear sexy panties all the time unfortunately for me that's just not the case.

One last thing I wanted to touch on might just be my absolute favorite style of panty: Nylon Briefs. As I started exploring online crossdresser communities more and more, something always caught my eye: a huge portion of the community seemed to love nylon brief panties. I always found that so odd, "those are granny panties" I thought. Despite this people love them, and there's a whole community online of people who just enjoy these panties, without any interest in crossdressing further. In fact if you look through the reviews on amazon for nylon brief panties, many of them are unashamedly men! Here are some examples from Vanity Fair Women's Perfectly Yours High Waisted Brief Panties:

Obviously a lot of men LOVE wearing these panties, so I had to get over my prejudice and give them a try. My local Kohl's was having a sale on Vanity Fair's Nylon Brief panties (the general census seeming to be that Vanity Fair was the best brand for nylon brief panties), and I drove down in guy mode to get a set of my own. I picked up a three pack with some fun colors and unashamedly brought them to register. The checkout lady didn't make any comments about them, and I walked out with my set nylon panties. After trying them on for the first time I instantly knew what all the fuss was about. First of all, nylon is an incredibly soft material and feels absolutely fantastic to wear. What I think is far more significant about these panties however is that I would not be surprised if they were designed with men in mind. While that's more than likely not true, let me explain why it feels true. These panties have a wide crotch and ample support, making them feel like they were designed for people with male genitals. So combined with the fact that they feel really soft, they are also designed in such a way that they fit men perfectly! Now lets address the elephant in the room, they are not exactly the sexiest style of panty on the market, hence the term "Granny Panties". Unless you are planning on having someone see you in your panties, or are taking pictures of yourself, what on earth does it matter what your panties look like. Nylon briefs are by far some of the most comfortable panties on the market (as I write this article I am actually wearing a pair), and I hope more people give them a try.
Well I hope you had some fun reading my thoughts and opinions on panties today, I certainly had fun writing about them! There's so much to talk about when it comes to women's underwear, who knows, one day maybe I'll be back for a part 2. But for now I wish you all happy panty wearing!! Enjoy the assorted random panty pics bellow!

My LOVE of Disney Princesses!

 Hello There,

An unfortunate side effect of being a transgender or genderfluid person is the loss of time due to not coming out earlier in life. Because we live in an unaccepting society, there's a lot of time stolen from us at the beginning of our lives that we could have spent expressing ourselves as feminine. So it's certainly totally understandable that a lot of older trans women express themselves by wearing outfits or styles that are not necessarily age appropriate, but hey more power to them (You look great ladies!). For younger trans or genderfluid women, I feel like the push is more toward recapturing the childhood as a little girl that was stolen from us. Now for many this manifests as either the Sissy or ABDL lifestyles, neither of which I've really tried, or am interested in discussing here. Instead I'd like to discuss how in my quest to recapture the feminine childhood that was stolen from me I found a new love and admiration for Disney Princesses!

Ever since I was a little kid I always had feminine interests; I wanted to play with dolls, or play house, or dress up. But alas as a little boy it meant I could only do things little boys were meant to do like play with dinosaurs or sports. These youthful feminine interests never left me however, obviously once I started crossdressing my interest in playing dress up was satisfied LOL. But the desire was still there for everything else however, I wanted to feel young and feminine and girly. I wanted to enjoy the things that at some point in every girl's life she enjoys. Now how exactly I would be able to manifest those feelings I was never quite sure.

My answer came in a pattern I noticed when as I aged I started looking through photos of transgender women and crossdressers online. At some point almost all of them had dressed as a Disney Princess; Cinderella, Belle, Elsa, you name a Disney Princess at some point a crossdresser had dressed as them. This caught my eye because I too was a Disney mega-fan, I grew up watching all the movies, and living in Florida, I visited the theme parks all the time. So I started looking up more photos of crossdressers in princess dresses, and cosplayers, and theme park cast members, I was starting to fall down the rabbit hole. I began looking up fan art, videos, and stories. At a certain point I realized, that most of my free time was now being dedicated to enjoying Disney Princesses. I had finally found that childlike wonder and enjoyment that I was looking for! Disney Princesses embodied everything I enjoyed about women: beauty, grace, kindness, intelligence, and overwhelming femininity!

Well it's one thing to enjoy looking at something online, it's another thing to actually bring that hobby to your life in person. When I finally moved into an apartment where I would have some privacy I knew I had to bring Disney Princesses to my life in a big way. Firstly as I was buying women's clothes for myself for the first time, there was one must have item on my list: a princess dress. But who to choose? The answer was easy for me: Belle. Belle's dress is just so incredibly beautiful and feminine, with the wide skirt and it being yellow, it seemed like a natural choice as my first princess dress. Well I ordered one on amazon, got it delivered and it was the first thing I tried on. The dress certainly did not disappoint, it was soft, shiny, flowing and oh so feminine. The occasion was also made all the more special because it was my first time doing makeup, so my feminine euphoria was at an all time high. While I unfortunately would end up having to purge that dress when I briefly moved back home after college, my time dressing as a princess did not end there. I've since added two new princesses to my collection, Cinderella and Snow White. I chose Cinderella because like Belle, her dress was uber feminine. Snow White's dress on the other hand I'm not the hugest fan of, but it was on sale so how could I resist, she's still a Disney Princess! Both dresses are incredibly fun to wear, and reignite that girly feeling I was looking for. Hopefully I'll be able to add some new princess dresses to my collection soon!

While wearing princess dresses certainly scratches the itch of recapturing my stolen childhood as a little girl, It was just a band aid. I was still spending 99% of my time princess free, and I wanted to find a way to bring more of the feeling of youthful femininity to my life. Inspiration struck in Walmart of all places, I was walking through the home goods section when I came across an adorable Disney Princess blanket with Ariel, Belle, and Rapunzel for only $15. Naturally I immediately bought it, and while I really loved it, it gave me the inspiration for something far grander: A Disney Princess themed bedroom, just like a little girl would have! Once that inspiration had struck I went on a shopping spree, I had to find a comforter that featured my favorite Princesses and I'd been looking for any excuse to try satin sheets for the first time. When It all came together it looked amazing, the room of my dreams! The two years I spent sleeping in that room were amazing, like a fairytale. Of course all good things must end and like my Belle dress I had to say farewell to my princess room when I finished college.

Today in my new condo, while I don't have an over the top princess room like I once did, I have started collecting Disney Princess dolls. I have six sitting on my desk and when I wake up every morning I'm greeted by six of my favorite royal ladies. While for now I just have a basic pink satin sheet and comforter set, I'm always on the lookout for some new Disney Princess additions. Additionally like I mentioned earlier I'm hoping to add some new princess dresses to my collection (Rapunzel and Aurora are both definitely on the docket). I'm looking for new and creative ways to bring the joys of Disney Princesses to my life and one of the most exciting things I've found about them so far is just how many new and fun ways I can incorporate them into my life.

Well I hope you enjoyed me gushing over how much I love Disney Princesses. Once I get some new dresses or dolls maybe I'll come back for a part two. I'll take any excuse to talk about them LOL. Until then I leave you with the question: who is your favorite Disney Princess? Just don't ask me, it's far too hard to choose.
