On the Hunt for Sheer Pantyhose!

 Hello There,

So today I had some free time and thought to myself "gee it sure would be fun to wear some pantyhose while out and about". But as I've mentioned before I don't really have any pantyhose I'm satisfied with in terms of how sheer and well hidden they are. So I decided that today was the day to fix that situation! My favorite brand of Pantyhose is L'eggs, and I wanted to try a new style: L'eggs Silken Mist Ultra Sheer Leg. I've never tried this style before, and was hopeful that it would solve my problem of wearing pantyhose that are too noticeable. I do hope to one day work up the courage to wear pantyhose that are semi noticeable, but I'm not quite ready for that yet.

I started my quest to find my new pantyhose at Walmart, since I needed to stop there anyway to pick up a few other things. I started off by looking for the ever elusive shopping basket, they never seem to have any available. I only needed a few small things so a whole shopping cart seemed like overkill. Of course there were no baskets to be found, so I pulled a shopping cart out from the line and made my way into the store. I started off by grabbing everything else I needed and then found my way to the women's clothing section. This Walmart has a pretty huge section for women's underwear so it was pretty tough for me to actually find the pantyhose. Finally I had found the shelf of pantyhose, and to no ones surprise it was totally unorganized and disheveled, with a bunch of open boxes. I don't know why but it seems like in every Walmart I go to it looks like a tornado blew threw their pantyhose shelf. Well I did my best to search through the disorganized mess but alas their were no Ultra Sheer Legs in both Nude and Size Q or Q+. While I can certainly fit into Q, I prefer the extra room of Q+, both for comfort and durability. Unfortunately I couldn't find either of those sizes in nude. Maybe they were hidden somewhere among the mess but I couldn't find them, even though I spent quite a bit of time looking. Onlookers were probably getting to become curious why I was spending so long rifling through the pantyhose shelves. So I eventually called it and moved on to my next store.

After a quick google search I saw that target sells L'eggs pantyhose online so I drove down the road to try to find my quarry there. But to my surprise there were no L'eggs pantyhose to be found! So in frustration I whipped out my phone and searched again, and sure enough there they were on Target's website. However, upon closer inspection I discovered that they were an online only item, and were not sold in stores. Whoops my bad, can't be too mad at Target about that one, they clearly said it online. Well my second stop was a bust unfortunately, hopefully my third stop would be more successful! If nothing else at least I got to enjoy Target's massive wall of bras, very fun!

My next stop was Walgreens and at this point I was getting frustrated and loosing hope. I slinked my way over to the pantyhose section and to my surprise there they were: a pair of  L'eggs Silken Mist Ultra Sheer Leg size Q, in Nude! I'd found them! Kinda. Like I said I prefer size Q+ over Q, and had I come so far only to settle? If nothing else I knew that this Walgreens had a pair that would work. So I gambled, I figured I would try one more store to see if I could find an Ultra Sheer Leg in size Q+. It was risky move I know, but I was feeling bold!

My next and final stop was to be a CVS, and was located literally just outside of my apartment complex so if I struck out I was going home afterwards. I walked in and found what I thought to be the pantyhose section but to my surprise they had little to nothing! Just a few compression tights and that's it! "What the heck" I thought! I knew CVS sold L'eggs pantyhose, why was this one not selling them! But upon closer inspection of all the products for sale, they all seemed to be compression tights, or products to encourage blood flow. I was about to leave but it clicked for me that this was a section selling medical legwear accessories not legwear for fashion! My search was to go on there had to be L'eggs in here somewhere!

I kept wandering and boom there they were, those unmistakable little white L'eggs boxes. Like Walgreens they also had a pair of L'eggs Silken Mist Ultra Sheer Leg size Q, in Nude. Also like Walgreens there was no Q+ available but that's okay. I'd come all the way here, and I could settle for just Q. I picked up my box of pantyhose (which was really dusty, yuck) and headed to the register to check out. The Woman attendant made no comment about what I was buying and I was on my way, at long last pantyhose in hand!

But after that long journey of 4 stops were they all that I was hoping they would be? I rushed up the stairs to my apartment and tried them on. As soon as I took them out of the box I immediately tell they were the smaller size Q but that's Okay, they'd still fit fine. So I slipped them on and OMG! They were nearly invisible! They were exactly what I was looking for, I could absolutely wear these in public and no one will notice!  My quest had been a massive success, and now I can begin having fun outings where I visibly wear pantyhose in public. To celebrate I walked out to my car wearing them to drop them off. I'm excited to say that I walked past a woman and her child and neither of them had their eyes drawn to my legs!

Now that I have such a well concealed pair of pantyhose look forward to new public and pantyhosed blog posts soon!

Quick Life Update

 Hello There,

Hey friends, I just wanted to give you all a quick life update today! You may have noticed that I have decreased the amount of new posts that feature me doing new crossdressing things. Well that's because my life has been super busy recently, and I've found it hard to find time to dress. As I've mentioned in a previous post in my current living situation I am unable to freely dress as much as I used to. Additionally, I've recently found myself in a new relationship with a lovely girl, so spending time with her has eaten up a lot of my free time. Thankfully she is fully supportive of the fact that I am Genderfluid, and does not care if I dress around her. So come next year when I no longer live with my current roommate hopefully I'll be dressing a lot more frequently!

In the meantime I've been trying to post other fun blog posts like my series on crossdressing in different decades (70s coming very very soon!), and some exciting secret princess related stuff in the near future. Despite of all that stuff, I'm going to keep trying to get some blog posts out there about myself, because I'm sure that's why most of you are here LOL. Either way thanks for enjoying the blog and stick around for more feminine fun!

How do I Shop?

 Hello there,

Today I wanted to talk one of the most common questions I get asked when talking to other Crossdressers and Transgirls online: How do I do my shopping? Strangely enough I feel like it's a skill like makeup, that takes a little bit of research, and a little bit of trial and error. I'd like to think I've picked up some tricks that make shopping for women's clothes as a guy a little bit easier. I should also mention that I like to shop on a budget. I feel that since I wear women's clothes pretty infrequently it's not worth spending huge amounts of money on them, especially because I don't exactly have plenty of disposable income. Before we get started however I should mention you really need to figure out your accurate clothing size before you start shopping, this will help make sure you buy clothes that will actually fit and that you won't have to annoyingly return. It makes shopping for yourself a lot easier, and will help you streamline the process!

Online Shopping

Online retailers are an excellent option for Trans Women and Crossdressers as they avoid any potentially awkward interactions by shopping in person. Furthermore the increased selection and good prices make it extremely easy to expand your wardrobe on a budget. Now your first instinct might be to shop for clothes at one of those flashy Crossdresser specific stores online, but those products are extremely overpriced and much cheaper alternatives can be found elsewhere. While there's certainly a plethora of sites out there, you just can't go wrong with Amazon. Amazon just has everything you could possibly need Wigs, Makeup, Clothes, breastforms, you name it, its probably on there.

If you're like me you're a frugal shopper so I wanted to share my process for finding the cheapest price (non-scam) items as possible on Amazon. So when you sort a page by Price: Low to High, you'll get a bunch of items priced extremely cheaply anywhere from a cent to a dollar, but with these items, you'll pay a fortune on shipping and aren't actually the cheapest items. Using the following steps you should be able to find the actual best priced items on amazon:

1. Search your item

2. Check the box on the left side of the screen that says free shipping by Amazon/ Amazon Prime (This will both get rid of products with ridiculous shipping fees, and now show only products by non-scammer companies)

3. Sort by Price: Low to High, on the top right side of the screen
4. Next Filter by your Size on the left hand side of the screen (This is important! Some of the products shown may not have your size available, and because there are so many products available on Amazon there are too many to show you at once unless you filter by size)
5. Finally filter by the Maximum price you want to pay on the left hand side of the screen (similar to why it was important to filter by size it is also very important to filter by price, because there are so many items to show you amazon may omit some lower priced items in favor of higher ones, unless you filter them out)
6. Happy hunting! Further filtering might help you find exactly what you're looking for, but if you just like to browse and see what's cheap and available there will be hundreds of reasonably priced items now at your fingertips!

So that's how I do most of my shopping on Amazon, just filtering by price and see what's cheap and available. Unless there's a specific item I want to buy, I try to make sure I buy things as cheaply as possible. Another online store I recommend shopping on is Shein. Their prices are usually very good and their variety of clothing is massive. Items tend to sell out pretty quick however so if you find something you really like don't wait more than a few months to buy it. Another website I like (that I'm sure you're all aware of) is Ebay. Ebay is a great option for more niche items that other stores might not have (like wedding or prom dresses). Additionally buying things used sometimes helps you save a few bucks. It can sometimes just be harder to gauge the clothing size of the item being sold, depending on how descriptive the seller is.

In Store
If you're looking for advice about how to shop in store en femme, you'll have to look elsewhere. I have yet to shop in girl mode in a store, and I'd imagine it won't be happening anytime soon. Personally I think shopping for women's clothes in guy mode can be awkward enough, I don't want to slap also being dressed in public on top of it. Inevitably when you shop as a guy you'll get some strange looks here and there,  I like to shop as though I'm shopping for a girlfriend, that way if anyone asks I have a quick answer I can give them. However if I can use the excuse that I'm shopping for my girlfriend in guy mode, there would be no doubt who I'd be shopping for if I was fully dressed. Maybe one day I'll buck up the courage to do it, but for now it's just not on my schedule.

Understandably buying women's clothes in stores may be a little bit awkward, but it only has to be as uncomfortable as you want to make it. I know when I first started shopping in stores in guy mode, I would hide the girls clothes underneath everything else I was buying in my basket so no one would see. Now I don't really care that much, I'll put a hot pink bra on top of everything else in my basket, it's still a little awkward but whatever. All it takes is a little bit of confidence! None of the people that might see you buying the clothes are ever going to see you again, so what does it matter what their opinion is. Now if you're confident enough to try on women's clothes in store you're a bad ass, even I'm not that confident most of the time lol.

If you're like me and aren't quite brave enough for trying women's clothes on in a fitting room, I'd make sure you know your size before you go out. That way you can be in and out once you find your size. Additionally shopping in stores that have self checkout scanners are a great way to make a quick, interaction free exit. Of course if you're looking to avoid human interaction, there's other great tips like shopping late at night or far from where you live. If you also want to minimize your time in stores, you can also use store's websites to check if certain items you are looking for are in stock. This way you don't have to waste time looking for products that may not even be in stock.

One last thing I wanted to touch on was which stores I personally enjoy shopping in for girls clothes. Walmart and Target are both great options because they have self checkouts, and because they offer a little bit of everything. Both stores offer underwear for fairly cheap so if you are a panty fan I highly recommend. I'm also a fan of second hand stores like Goodwill, they're a great option at finding clothes for super cheap. Not only are the products super cheap they're also a great opportunity to find shoes in large sizes and niche items like prom dresses and sometimes wedding dresses. Although being honest most of the times I've received some judgment for shopping in the women's section has been at Goodwills, so shop at your own peril! How could I wrap up talking about in store shopping without talking about Victoria's Secret? In every experience I've had shopping there the employees have been incredibly kind and helpful. It's a safe space and I recommend shopping there if you can afford it. I've even seen some people go so far as to get a bra fitting at VS! Like I said it's a safe non-judgmental space, so if you're brave enough go for it! Getting a bra fitting at VS is actually on my bucket list, hopefully someday I can make it happen!

So that's a quick overview of my experience shopping for women's clothing. I hope it was in some way helpful. Maybe I'll have to chronicle some in store shopping trips as blog posts, that might be fun. Until then happy shopping everyone!

Dress Game by Asayris art!

 Hello There,

I stumbled on a fun series of images by artist Asayris who does fantastic fashion illustrations. Of all the different art pieces Asayris has created my favorite is a series of illustrations showing alternate versions of the same outfit with slightly different styling. Each piece has four different versions, and gives the viewer the opportunity to choose their favorite. I figured for a bit of fun we'd go piece by piece and see how your fashion choices compare to mine!

Fantasy Dress:

First of all, what a beautiful style and color! For me personally I prefer option d. ( unsurprisingly since it's the "princess" style, I'm nothing if not consistent). Personally I think the bows on option c. distract from the beautiful cut of the dress. With the shoulder straps, the shoulder straps on c. feel a little too minimal, and on a. feel like a little too much, d. is just right!

Black Dress

So for this one I'm going with option c.  Of course these are all super beautiful I just like the silhouette option c. cuts, but unlike option d, it still leaves a little to imagination.

Romantic Dress

Ok for our romantic dress, it's gotta be option c. for me. I'm probably projecting since I don't like showing my midriff. However I'm also a massive fan of V-necks so that drew me to this design also.

Purple Dresses

The differences in this one are subtle, but for me I think option d. is going to be my choice. Option c. is far too conservative of a neck line to be fun. As for the other 3, I think option d. is the best happy medium for the shoulders between having some exaggeration of none.

Black Tops Pt. 1

I am struggling on this one, both c. and d. are tied up for me. Ultimately I think I'm going with c. because of the simpler design on the stomach. By simplifying it it feels more like a top and less like a corset, not that there's anything wrong with that LOL.

Black Tops Pt. 2

Ok, a little bit more design diversity in this last one and it's a little bit easier for me this time, it's gotta be design b. for our final round. I love sleeves so I narrowed it down to b. and d., but I like the sleekness of b., I think it compliments the sheer sleeves well.

Well there you have it everyone, how did your choices compare to mine? This was such a fun little game to play, and I hope you all enjoyed it too! Definitely go check out Asayris art, as a final showcase I'll add a few more of my favorite illustrations below!
