The dresses worn by Disney Princesses are often just as famous as the princesses themselves. Belle's yellow ball gown or Cinderella's silvery blue are simply iconic. But this begs the question, do they still look as good if they're worn by other princesses? This post was inspired by a series of videos by Instagram princess influencer mandy.gleamnglow, where she compares how good Disney Princesses look swapping their dresses with one another. The videos were so fun, I had to make a whole blog post about them!
Before I show off Mandy's dress swap videos I thought I'd share some art by Dylan Bonner. Dylan is an artist who specializes in all things feminine, even working for the Disney Company itself to design Princess themed merchandise. Well, Dylan also got in on the dress swapping fun; he created a series of art pieces featuring princesses wearing each other's dresses! They're so fun, check them out below!
Aren't those lovely?! I know that Mandy's videos where the main reason for making this post, but once I saw Dylan's art I couldn't resist including them. Speaking of Mandy, let's take a look of those videos now shall we! For each dress swap she made two videos, one where the actual swap happens, and another where she discusses how good the swap looks (or doesn't look in some cases).
