Instagram Princess Influencers

 Hello There,

Since I haven't ordered a Disney Princess dress in a while I've been going through withdrawals and needed some Princess magic in my life. So today I'll be scratching my itch by highlighting three amazing Disney Princess influencers from Instagram! There's a lot of various princess influencers online from Cosplayers, to dress designers to party princesses, so there's no shortage of content to for me to share. The three I chose today were the some of the first influencers I started following and are all really magical!

Valentinemoon

Rosie aka _valentinemoon_ is a cosplayer that has amazing Instagram and TikTok accounts where she shows off her amazing princess dresses, all of which she makes by hand! She has tons of videos showing off how she she makes all her dresses, but my favorite videos of hers by far are her videos that show off what she has underneath the dresses. She has a series of videos where she shows off every layer that has to be put on underneath one of her dresses. So many layers of cute pretty petticoats and hoop skirts get worn to give princess dresses authentic movement and flowyness. She's got videos highlighting her versions of Disney's Live action Cinderella, Light-Up Cinderella, Belle, Ariel's Wedding Dress, Anna, Elsa's Spirit Dress, Elena of Avalor, and Lottie from Princess and the Frog.

Weren't those fun?! You guys know I'm a fan of layers so I loved these videos! Rosie also makes a great series of dresses based on the classic animated barbie movies, so if you're a fan of those or just want to look at more of her pretty dresses go check her out on Instagram! One last video I figured I'd share is a slowed down more in depth video of her Live Action Cinderella Dress:

Aleks Ponomareva

Next up I've got professional costume designer Aleks Ponomareva aka aleks_ponomareva_ on Instagram. She designs by far the best Disney Princess dresses I have ever seen, and they are all for sale! That's right you too can own any of these dress, for a steep price of course. Unfortunately they're all pretty far out of my budget but they're still an absolute joy to look at! Here are all the different designs she currently produces:

Aren't those just the most beautiful dresses ever! Like OMG!! Also got to give massive credit to Aleks Ponomareva for looking so beautiful while wearing all of them. If I ever win the lottery my closet is going to be full of these dresses! Yes they are expensive but the incredible designs and craftsmanship obviously make them worth it! To see some of these amazing dresses in motion, check out the videos below!

Ellascharm

Our final princess influencer for the day is Mekella aka ellascharm on Instagram. She runs a Princess Birthday Party business and has some humorous videos highlighting the difficulty of being a Princess in todays modern world. Firstly she does a great series of videos showing off how it can be difficult to drive while wearing a princess dress featuring Belle, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Ariel:

Another fun video by ellascharm is one that describes how exactly you are supposed to go to the bathroom when when wearing a massive ballgown:

Hope you enjoyed all of those! Go check out all of those influencer's Instagram pages to see more Princess content! There's a whole treasure trove of Princesses online with lots of fun content so I will absolutely be back for a part 2! Until then I have one last bonus video for you. It's a fun video showing off wedding dresses inspired by Disney Princess!

Buying my Dream Wedding Dress... Almost

 Hello There,

I discussed at length in a previous blog post about how I've long been on the hunt for my perfect wedding dress. Well recently my hunt came to an end... or so I thought! Every now and then I'll browse ebay for wedding dress, and usually come up empty handed. Either dresses are the wrong size, wrong style, or wrong price. However to my surprise while I was just doing a random browsing session I seemingly found a perfect dress! It had literally every feature I wanted: puff sleeves, long sleeves, beaded and lace detailing, mostly satin, and a large bow on the back. Funnily enough I had actually posted an exact image of the dress in my blog post on my dream wedding dresses!

The San Martin dress itself seemed to be in good condition despite some minor imperfections. It was a size twelve, which I was fairly certain I could fit into. But the cherry on top was the price only $80! Not only had I found my dream wedding dress but I'd found it for a reasonable price! Needless to say I realized this was too good an opportunity to wait on so I instantly bought it!

When the day finally came I with quickly grabbed my box off the door step and ran to my room. The box was fairly heavy which made me happy (I love a dress with some weight) and the dress was super tightly packed. Once I had finally freed it from its packaging I took in all the intricate details, it was a little overwhelming honestly! But enough staring, time for wearing! I threaded my legs through the long gown and began to pull it up. I slipped my arms into the sleeves and immediately noticed a problem, there was no way the back was going to zip up. I tried adjusting the shoulders and pulling things together but alas it was not even close. I was so disappointed!! I came so close, but unfortunately my wedding dress dreams slipped through my fingers again. Luckily the ebay seller accepted returns so I was able to ship it back and get a refund.

What a disappointing turn of events, I had a perfect wedding dress in my hands it was just a little too small. I'll be sizing up in future orders, I'd rather not have to got through the same disappointment again. Oh well maybe next time! My eternal search for a wedding dress continues...
